S1Digital Media Centre Mini Edition

in: Uncategorized

Ever since AOpen announced barebones version of their AOpen miniPC MP945-VX, we wondered who will be the first to pick it up and make a complete tiny Home Media Center under their own brand. Now we have the answer - it’s S1Digital. Their version of AOpen miniPC - S1Digital Media Center Mini Edition comes with:

Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66GHz) chip
1GB of DDR2 RAM
80 GB SATA HDD
Gigabit LAN and Wi-Fi a/b/g
DVD +/-RW optical drive
Intel GMA 950
Nvidia PureVideo Decoders
External USB SDTV and HDTV tuners
5.1 channel HD Audio with digital optical and analog outputs
Windows Media Centre OS

With a price of $1284 for the configuration above, S1Digital Media Center Mini Edition ain’t the cheapest desktop around, it’s even more expensive then the original Mac Mini, but if you are looking for a quiet and tiny Windows based Media centre that will look in your living room, S1Digital Media Center Mini Edition looks like a good choice.
