Fujitsu Lifebook E8410/E8490 and Lifebook A6030 Santa Rosa laptops

Tags: none

With all major PC vendors announcing new Santa Rosa based laptop models to be shipped soon, Fujitsu has been somewhat shy. They had some announcements in Japan, but none for notebooks in the U.S. market.

Well, while there’s no official info what new laptop models Fujitsu is planing for U.S, we went to the FCC and found a couple of new Fujitsu Santa Rosa notebooks there.

One if them is an upgrade to 15″ Lifebook E series and is dubbed Fujitsu Lifebook E8410/8490. It will come with Core 2 Duo T7700 2.40 GHz chip and 15.4″ WUXGA/WSXGA or WXGA display.

Another one is Fujitsu A6030 - an upgrade to an affordable Lifebook A6020 laptop line. Fujitsu Lifebook A6030 will also have Core 2 Duo T7700 CPU and 15.4″ WXGA screen.

Both notebooks submitted for FCC approval did not have (*.pdf) the newest Intel Wi-Fi 4965AGN chip and were certified only for the older 3945ABG wireless LAN module.

No other specs are available from FCC site for now, but you can easily find them out from comparable Fujitsu E and A line models.
