HP Compaq 2710p Tablet PC is among the thinnest and lightest tablets around. And HP certainly took it’s time developing it. The rumors about HP Compaq 2710p tablet codenamed Optimator first surfaced this January, it was announced in May and it is still not available for sale.
But not for long, we hope, since HP Compaq 2710p Tablet PC has just been approved by FCC:

Looks like Lenovo Thinkpad X61 Tablet PC will soon get a serious competitor.
