The wait is over and Dell Ubuntu Linux notebooks and desktops systems are here.
Today Dell has officially launched 3 new systems - Dell Inspirion E1505n notebook, Dell Dimension E520n and XPS 410n desktops - with Ubuntu Linux preinstalled.

Toshiba Tecra M9 Centrino Pro notebook is the first Toshiba’s business notebook to get Santa Rosa chip upgrade.
Since it was not able to field a lot of configuration options for the business flagship, Toshiba went to great lengths to get the price/spec equation for Tecra M9 right.
